On the coast of Estoril, the Estoril Race Track, with great traditions in the international Formula 1 circuit and in MotoGP, is thus a must-see for your visit to the region.
Inaugurated on 16 June 1972, the Estoril Racetrack had to wait until 1982 to be included in the FIA F2 Championship, which ended up, in 1984, opening the doors of the Estoril Autodrome to the “cream of cream” of international motor racing, the Formula One World Championship, a competition that received until 1996 (before that, the Grand Prix of Portugal had been held in Boavista (Porto), in the years 58 and 60, and in Monsanto (Lisbon), in 59).
The fastest way is by the highway (A5) from Lisbon and the trip is approximately 30 minutes.
Where to park:
You can park as permitted by the authorities in the vicinity of the Estoril Circuit, and you can also choose the concessionary car parks.
